She took a walk as she always did along the Thessia shoreline. She was alone and had been alone since she had returned to Thessia to aid with the rebuilding. It kept her mind off...other things. Oh Jack and Ashley were very good and they had kept her spirits up, helping her people had given her a sense of purpose but she whilst she was the Liara T'soni people knew and loved...or hated on the outside, she was broken on the inside.

She sank to her knees and bowed her head, the tears fell from her face, since returning they had no word of Shepard, no one knew where she was, she could have been anywhere...or dead, again. Liara recalled the last thing she had said. "No matter what happens Liara, know that I love you, I always have"; "Shepard!!!! I am yours".

She threw her head back and screamed in rage at the unfairness of it all, they had just managed to find each other again and Liara was not sure if the ache in her heart would ever fade. She ignored the flashing on her omni-tool, but the flashing got more insistant and wiping her eyes she quickly answered it to see the fuzzy faces of Garrus and Wrex. Grinning at her...had Wrex been crying???

"We found her Liara! She's alive!!"

Liara let the words sink in and tears of joy fell anew from her eyes......
